Privacy, in plain words.

On your Mac

Sashay keeps window positions, screen arrangements, named layouts, app rules and settings on your Mac. Saved window titles are SHA-256 hashes, not readable titles. Accessibility lets it find and move windows. Your layouts do not go to the licence server.

Licence checks

The 7-day trial dates, licence key, masked key, Mac ID and last successful check stay in the macOS keychain. Activation and later checks send your licence key, product ID and an app-specific Mac ID to license.lfglabs.ai. The Mac ID is a SHA-256 hash of the product ID and your hardware UUID. The server never receives the hardware UUID.

The licence server checks your purchase with Whop and stores up to two Mac IDs in your Whop membership. Its short-lived rate limits use a hashed licence key and your IP address for up to a minute. The server has no database and writes no application log lines. After a successful check, the app checks again once that answer is over 3 days old. An offline Mac can keep using its licence for up to 30 days after a successful check. Remove This Mac frees a place and removes the key here.

Whop processes payment and order details under Whop’s privacy policy.

Updates and this website

Release builds check an appcast at downloads.lfglabs.ai daily for updates. That request sends ordinary connection information such as an IP address to the download host. These sites use no analytics scripts, advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Cloudflare serves the pages and receives ordinary request information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site. Its processing follows Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
